What is the nicest thing that anyone has ever done for you?

I once left my phone in Switzerland, and my aunt that lived there shipped it to Italy where I was staying for a week. Let me tell you Italian postage/shipping (I think it was TNT to be precise) is the worst. The host of the house we were staying at drove me two hours to the main shipping depot it was at, did all the run around, translated, negotiated (they were definitely not going to find it for me if he wasn't there) and paid all fees to get it back for me before I left. AND took me on a tour of where the Pope vacations, got me sparkling red wine local to the area, took me out for lunch and took the scenic route while giving me some history and culture lessons. No expectations or weirdness, just genuinely wanted to help and it was so appreciated. Just so nice of him to take time off for me to do that, as at that point we had only just chatted briefly. Definitely wouldn't have gotten that back, and it had all the memories of my once in a lifetime Asia/Europe trip. Just so genuinely nice. Grazie Lorenzo!
