Can you not participate in one area of clinical rotation in year 3?

You seem to be interested in psych but not have an interest in the structure of the human body even beyond the surgery rotation. Given that, have you considered a clinical psychology program? Planning for med school with only one specialty is generally a bad idea because there’s no way to guarantee you’ll even match into it. If you do clinical psychology, you’d be guaranteed to do psych. You could also explore other pathways to becoming a therapist. Those seem to make more sense for your needs than psychiatry. Is there a reason why you must do psychiatry over psychology or therapy? The thing that makes psychiatrists different is their extensive training in medicine which is the part you seem to want to avoid.
