What is the one story you want to tell, that you can never fit into a conversation?

I was fishing off the shore in Florida and when I fish off the shore I walk out into the ocean until I’m about neck deep, and then cast my line in and then walk it back to shore. Well I was walking out into the ocean with my 16 year old brother at the time and we were about neck deep when we noticed two people swimming out further than us but kind of a ways away. It’s not super uncommon for people to be swimming that far from shore but it hardly ever happens that I see when I’m vacationing. I noticed it was two Mexican ladies yelling “ayuda!” to us repeatedly. We both look at each other and wonder what they are trying to tell us? I failed Spanish 1 twice in high school. I take my fishing poles back into shore while my brother treads water over to them and I tell my girlfriend there’s a possibility these two ladies far out need out help and to go get a lifeguard (that was in seeing eye distance) well I swim out to my brother which is clearly as deep as 10 feet and terrifying because I don’t like to mess with being that deep in the ocean, and these two ladies who are treading water and he tells me that they can’t get back to shore and need help. Waves are crashing down on us and I notice that they are clearly struggling. My brother puts one on his back and swims her to shore. I found that super unsafe because I have heard of people drowning trying to save people like that because the person seeking help will push down the one helping. So I pull the other one to shore by grabbing her arm as she treads water and pulled her toward shore fighting the waves and the pull of the ocean. Some guy who looked like her family member met us at the shoreline. We were all out of breath and he looks at us and says “thank you” and starts away walking down the beach. We googled ayuda later and kinda were just like “oooh that makes sense.”
