Oh trust me, it's something I'm all too familiar with. Last year I had contemplated suicide whilst I was talking to a different online friend and the only reason I'm still here is because she was able to find my mom's workplace and phone in. Essentially warning her that her son was wanting to die and to intercept the pills being delivered to our house. I never recieved my package and I'm guessing my mother got to it before I did, but she never confronted me about it and used the excuse that she had threw up at work when she had arrived home at 2 in the morning that night. I don't speak to this person anymore but I miss her a lot, and it was only until today did I realize she did it because she cared about me. She didn't want me to die and I was being terribly inconsiderate telling her how I was going to off myself.

In this case, it's a little different. She already has a boyfriend and the age gap is pretty significant, making it a completely platonic friendship which I find to be fine. It's an incredibly shitty situation to be in regardless though, and I appreciate the heads up.
