this technically isn’t “about me,” but this one’s bad. i found his old broken iphone in a dresser drawer and found a secret instagram he had. i caught him cheating on me and confronted him about that, but i never mentioned that i found a DM from over six years ago in which he was pretending to be someone else on instagram to catfish his sister (and other women) for nudes. i deleted it as soon as i saw it. i didn’t tell him that i found it mostly because i knew he never expected anyone to find it, and because of that i worried he’d do something drastic if he knew i did. i’m also just too horrified to bring it up, it shows that the person i’ve been with for so long is not who i thought he was, and may actually be a volatile and predatory individual. i try not to think about it but i know it’s really, really bad. i wish i could tell her, but i know it would fuck their whole tightly knit family dynamic. i’ll be taking that one to my grave.
