What’s something your parents did when you were younger that you thought was normal?

Not being intimate, at all. It’s a running trend in my family that after you choose who you are going to marry or stay as perpetual partners if you don’t want a wedding, you are only intimate for a few years, and then it completely cools down. My parents have been together 35 years and the only time they have had sex in the last 25 was to have me because they both decided they wanted a kid. They share a bed and kiss occasionally, but other then that, you could mistake them for being close friends or business partners. They both own a business together and make each other happy just by casually talking and being around each other. I had no idea that people actually had sex for fun until I hit puberty, and had no clue what a relationship truly was.
