This might be an unpopular post but I really struggle that LGB is bundled with Trans. (I am a gay cis man by the way for context.)

At the end of the day, my sexual orientation has nothing to do with gender or my gender identity. I simply like the same sex who has a dick. Why are we bundled into the same category as someone who has gender dysmorphia and gender identity issues? It’s a totally different concept - orientation vs. gender expression or identity. I feel it’s just a marketing ploy to put us all in one box and label it.

Problem is, I feel it creates a divide in our own community. I like dick and I love having a dick and being a guy, so I don’t appreciate being in the same bracket as people who have issues with that (e.g their sex at birth) as it’s a totally different concept and issue around self identity rather than sexual preference.

Thoughts on this? I can’t imagine my post will be will received, I’d be scared to say this out loud to some members of the LGBT+ community but it’s how I feel.
