This will probably get buried, but here goes. I was on a regional bus from Tacoma to Seattle about two years ago. As the bus pulled on to the freeway, a disheveled man wearing a Santa Claus suit stood up and began to take his clothes off. Bizarre, but I’ve seen stranger here, I thought. Shortly after, he told us that we were all in a hostage situation. He walks up to the bus driver and tells the bus driver if he picks up the phone or looks behind him, he will shoot the driver.

Thankfully he’s focused on the driver, so I text 911 to inform then what’s going on. I locate the nearest window that I’ll jump out of in case shit hits the fan. Thankfully shit didn’t hit the fan, and the guy was able to be distracted enough until we got to the stop in Seattle. There we were met by six police cars and the guy was handcuffed and put in the back of a cop car.
