Being a narcissist with an ego of astronomical proportions that caused her to be oblivious to damage she caused to others.

To say it was a crush would be an understatement. I was in love big time. Tought she was "the one". I blissfully ignored various red flags she put up during few months. I tought i'm doing good, until one evening.

We went to see a movie and later for a few beers at a local bar. So far, so good. Yeah nope. She started talking to the bartender and continued to do so for the rest of the evening, almost completely ignoring me. I was massively insulted, but swallowed it.

Fast forward few months later; i'm fed up with her lack of awareness and i confess my feelings. Uh oh, she's already taken. Guess by who? Yep, mr. Bartender guy. If you could die by irony, that would be one of those cases.

We remain friendly. Fast forward two years. The guys confidence is completely destroyed because he had to deal with her shit all that time. She remained oblivious and kept bragging about how much she had done for him. Eventually they break up. Biggest bullet i dodged so far.
