Come on, it's 2019, no one cares. I had to travel by subway in full-on rococo attire once. Female attire, so including pannier. And an epee, because why not. It was tricky to squeeze the pannier through doors, but otherwise 100% ok. It was not rush hour, so no passangers have been harmed too...

I am also into LARP and you would be surprise what wierd outfits people won't pay any attention at all, and that's given that I am def not from the most open-minded country of all. I wore a post-apocalyptic tribal (think Horizon zero dawn but cheaper) with thick black "tribal" facepaint for one of my characters. A frock combined with a white ruffled shirt staned with blood. Fake cyberpunk augmentations. Banshee/cursed doll-like face art with nu-goth outfit at midnight in a park.

Be careful with your job dress code and enjoy yourself and your wardrobe preferences in your free time, that's it.
