The Ben thing kinda outlines my issue with how the discourse around mental health goes, tbh. Like, I don't think you can spend a year giving up millions of dollars by trying to pretend a major American city doesn't exist and NOT have some mental issue you could use help with. lol

I think people wanna draw a line between "real" issues and "fake" issues cause they want to be able to hold people accountable. Like, he acted like an asshole whether you can put a name to some issue in his head or not, but also, if he's willing to accept that, grow, and move on, you don't have to diagnose him with something to justify treating him like a human being. lol
