Every art teacher I've ever had. Hey. HEY. HEY! You're not a professional art critic, this isn't a museum, you're not in high society. You're teaching children in a public school in fucking Kentucky, take the stick out of your ass and teach me HOW do draw. Your job, as an art teacher is to give me the tools I need to attain and master a skill or set of skills. You are not there to tell me not to draw anime. Your job is not to tell me what I should or should not be drawing, it is to teach me how to draw or create. You're not better than me or any of the other kids in your class, you do not get to, say, throw a drawing done for an assignment in the trash without grading it because the student didn't know how to draw a horse, or anything about perspective or constructing forms in 3d space, or anatomy, or composition. If the student in your art class is trying to draw something but can't, they didn't fail, YOU DID. You are a FUCKING art teacher, TEACH. ART.
