What is the weirdest way a non-player has criticized the game?

As much as I hate to say it, I can't really blame someone for something like that hurting her interest in a person. If you don't think your interests are going to be compatible it will be harder to enjoy time together. And the second date made it clear Magic was still a bit part of his life.

But the fact that she reacted to finding out he's one of the best players of (in her mind once) popular card game with what's basically "what a nerd" attitude is galling to me. Being one of the best in the world at anything should be impressive. Even more than that is the fact she took to the internet and talked about the dates, specifically naming him plus talking about what exactly he did for the dates and therefore making it feel like she's trying to shame him for 'tricking' her, just seems rude. It's wording on things like:

I later found out that Jon infiltrated his way into OKCupid dates with at least two other people I sort of know, including one of my co-workers.

that really come off poorly. Like he's being sneaky by not actively saying he's a pro player at a game.
