The whole writing on the face also HAD to have been made mostly for conor / nate because those two have a lot of famous sayings / cool shit they like to say. Where as I feel like for everyone else i'm like "did they even say that? ever? I guess i'll take your word for it. And i'm sure this will make me sound like a fucking conor nuthugger or whatever you want to call me but... I love the "I'm not talented i'm obsessed." Quote. That speaks to me so deeply. When I was 'talented' people praised me for being so talented even though I was working fucking hard at shit and I wasn't getting credit for working hard. And when I started learning jiujitsu that's something where I feel like everyone tends to agree that there is no real jiujitsu 'talent' only hard work. Because it's so much about knowing exactly what to do to counter something, and to counter that counter etc.

There's never been a white belt that just like... knows how to escape from all these bad positions against someone who knows how to execute them correctly. They learn it.
