What is the worst D&D session you've ever participated in, and why?

The first and only D&D session I ever participated in:

I was 17. Two of my buddies were into it and convinced me and 2 other buddies to give it a try. I very much enjoyed the character-creation aspect of it. Rolling the character, allocating points, coming up with a 'back story', etc.

Then the DM starts by explaining the World and campaign he has in mind. My two buddies start roleplaying as their characters. Suddenly I realize that we're sitting in his Moms' basement eating Doritos and drinking Mountain Dew.

I immediately stopped them saying, "Guys, I'm sorry -- I just can't do this.", and went upstairs to watch WWF with his Dad.

I have no problem with D&D or tabletop RPGs, but it definitely isn't for me.
