What was your "Fuck this shit, I'm out" situation or experience?

Did a 150 plant guerrilla grow on BLM land back when it was HIGHLY illegal. We were looking at a decade in the hoosegow if we got caught. We (my climbing partner and me) would take turns checking on the grow, which was stressful beyond belief (going out there and not knowing if we were going to get caught by CAMP every time). It was a successful grow. We harvested, packed up our lines and trash and trimmed for 3 weeks. We made enough money to fly to Chamonix and climb for 3 months straight, come back and live off of the grow for the next year.

Next year, my climbing partner wants to do a 2000 plant grow in a National Park. I'm like, "Dude, we climb there. People go there to see nature, not our bullshit. And just the logistics alone! Man, no way...I'm not going to Federal prison for the next 20 years." I felt solid in my decision (still do), but it ended a great climbing team.
