What is your Opinion on "White Privilege" in America?

I resent the term, because people use it to undermine my opinions and make it seem like I've never struggled in life. I was disowned by my family, I've been homeless, disabled, hospitalized, broke, without healthcare, am in serious debt with a poor credit score, and so on. I haven't had it easy in life, but no one cares because I'm a "poor little white girl."

That's stupid. It's not a pissing contest. Everyone struggles and everyone has problems. Economic class is overwhelmingly a bigger concern than race.

We should be empathetic and open-hearted towards everyone's struggles, rather than dismissing others' due to some sort of twisted, racist jealousy.
