When my friend and I downloaded a Legend of Zelda ROM on an emulator.

We've been friends since we were 3 and spent pretty much all of our little kid time playing the game on the N64.

We never beat it. When we were 17 or 18 we downloaded an N64 emulator on his computer and got to business on playing it through.

Later that week we were, according to the playthrough guides, within an hour or so of finishing. It was so exciting. So much nostalgia. So many mind blowing Ohhhh, shit moments.

And then the fucking ROM glitched and we couldn't do anything except move straight into the sky or straight down into the ground. I'll never forget the disappointment. It still hurts.
