Whataburger awards employees over $90 million in bonuses

Yup, since covid and downsizing I have fallen back into managing a similar.. tier of worker. The entire work force would have been fired many times over by now if I enforced all the rules. They just seem like they stared at the sun too long or hit their head too many times. They cannot be taught to do something consistently on their own. They have to be reminded just about every time which is not really possible when I have a boat load of other things to do.

Its a constant battle with my bosses who just don't understand what kind of people the pay rate brings. Every time their is a mistake that is noticed by our sales department it leads to another procedure that I have to try to teach to a bunch of people that don't care or don't understand. They just want to get payed and go home.
