I'd grown up very sheltered, very religious, and was in a private christian school up until it closed due to embezzlement when I was 12. After that, I was put in public school. Completely different environment, I was totally unprepared for it.

In this public school, I met a 15 year old boy. He told me he was in love with me, and found out which bus I took home and would ride it to visit me. Completely friendless, I was happy to play with him after school but didn't really understand what he was talking about when he said he wanted to do everything with me. I remember him pinning me to the ground in the back yard and promising that we'd be happy forever. Didn't creep me out, I was laughing. Another time he was laying completely on top of me.

I don't remember why I did this, but I started taking an earlier bus home. To get home from that bus, I had to jump a fence. This would give me about 5 minutes headstart to get to my house before he did and lock the doors.

There were sliding glass doors leading to the backyard. He'd go in the backyard and stand at the glass doors and beg me to let him in. I remember one time he was pacing back in forth in front of it while I laughed and closed the blinds so he couldn't see in.

Looking back, this kid's behavior is bizarre. I wonder what would have happened to me if I'd been too slow one day and he caught me outside of my house. And my mom never knew anything about it, this all happened before she got home from work.
