My friend got mad at me for using a fork. 6 of us went on a camping trip down to Shenandoah Nat'l Park for our spring break and while most of it was a beautiful and fun experience it was still cold and wet (we went early April). It is fair to say a couple of us were on edge while doing the necessary camping rituals. One day after we all ate our dinner my friend and I were the designated dishwashers (I held the water jug and gave a consistent stream of water as my friend scrubbed) and he continually complained about his fingers going numb from it being so cold. As any good friend would do, I ignored his comments. As he got to the last of the pile he saw a fork and just completely lost his shit. Like a whole two minute rant about why the fuck someone would need to use a fork (we had a strict diet of hot dogs, hamburgers, and being cold). I informed him that I used the fork because I needed it for my scrambled hamburgers since I am allergic to buns (celiac). He then stormed off while cursing my intestines and leaving me wondering wtf just happened. Like he was legitimately angry at me. Then again this is the same guy that didn't talk to me for two days because I didn't drive him to the Chinese buffet.
