What's up with such a turn of opinion on the George Floyd murder after the bodycam footage was released?

I think it’s a bit of a reach to say that Floyd would still be alive if the neck kneeling didn’t happen. This man’s body was shutting down from the drugs and his behavior mimics one of someone that’s about to go into cardiac arrest as a result. Source: I watched it happen to my father, except he died before the officers even got from their squad car to him.

Let me clarify since everyone in this thread is rather jumpy: I AM NOT SAYING THE OFFICERS DID NO WRONG, but to sit there and say that the neck kneeling is the only factor to Floyd’s death is just simply ignoring the facts. And doing that does nothing but hurt the entire discussion and throttle any progression.
