What's the weirdest thing you witnessed that sounds made up when you tell someone else?

Today I was remembering when I was road tripping with my dad in the USA, one night we stopped at a Little Caesars pizza place at McAllen, Texas to get something quick for dinner. It was a small commercial plaza and all the businesses around were already closed, but then I saw some movement inside the shop next to the pizza place (I think it was a seafood restaurant). Through the window I was able to see a man, turning off some lights inside the restaurant while carrying a kid. Nothing weird, but then he went outside and turns out he was carrying a Chucky doll (yup, like the one from the movies), the size of a 7 year old kid. There was a bench outside the restaurant and the guy sat down the doll right there, being as careful as if it was a real kid. He went back in, and a couple seconds later he got out with a backpack, he turned off the lights, closed the store, put locks on the steel curtains and picked up the doll. He had his car parked right next to us, he sat down the doll on the passenger’s seat, put the seatbelt on it and fixed the doll’s hair with his hands and I swear it looked like he was talking to him, he took off and my dad got out with the dinner, I immediately told him and he just heard me and said “uhu” like I was some kind of crazy guy venting nonsense.
