What's the worst case of "rich kid syndrome" you've seen?

I was that rich kid. I grew up a snob and belittling people and their lifestyles while being able to afford all but the richest of rich possessions.

There was a time in high school when a kid didn’t make class because he wasn’t able to get school due to lack of funds for fuel(there was no bus route.) So of course the righteous and outspoken person I was, made sure to make everyone aware of how less fortunate this person was and completely demoralized this kid. The kid didn’t return to school for a couple of weeks due to all the slack he was catching.

One day a teacher basically set me straight, “I’m not suppose to say this, but you need to stop being so entitled and your lack of self awareness could use some polishing. This was a shock to my inner soul (because nobody cares about the outer soul) and blew my mind. At this point I realized I was a terrible person and was set to correct this the best that I can.

Anyways, now a 30 something year old, I try to live a much more modest and mundane life and not be such a douchebag.
