I was 7 or 8, lived in an apartment complex that had a steep hill that I like to ride my skate board down, one a couple of black girls are standing in the way. They tell me I can't pass till I say the password, one of the girls grabs my skate board. I got mad and chased after her screaming give my board back. I have heard the N word used before but I didn't understand what it really meant, so I called her a ner, she immediately dropped my board and started screaming for her mom, I grabbed my board and ran back. My mom asked me what all the commotion was and I told her I called this little girl a ner, she looked confused. Why would you call some knickers? Again I said I called her a n***er not knickers, still confused she says well knickers are just pants so that doesn't make sense. I just left it at that, I cringe now knowing what I really said and how terrified that poor little girl was.
