What's your favorite and least favorite aspect of your home country's culture?

At the risk of this going political and getting this subthread rightfully deleted, I couldn't agree more.

Patriotism is limited to mindlessly supporting war, being a Caucasian racist, and doing things in a backward way.

I also hate the newish bubble mentality many right wingers have. If a fact isn't something they want to hear they label it "fake news". It is so juvenile, it is something even small children beyond a very young age recognize as being a stupid thing to do.

What I like about American culture is the optimism, the informality, and the quickness to laugh, have a sense of humor.

It seems like many non-American cultures are often pessimistic, stuffy, pretentious, and uptight.
