What made you turn your life around?

Getting locked up for counterfeiting money before I was stupid enough to get myself into serious trouble. The secret service interrogated me for a few months and I ended up only doing a month in a state jail. It was the best thing to ever happen to me, honestly.

I ghosted everyone I knew, advice from my cellmate who looked like an evil nazi version of my own dad, which was super surreal. He looked just like him, seemed sincere with his advice. It worked. My old friends hate me but I don't say a word to them, even 15 years later.

I had a kid right after I got out and she was the final nail in my former self's coffin. I felt terrible for her, because her dad was at the time a piece of shit. I became the dad she deserved.

At this point my coworkers wouldn't recognize former-me if they ran into him. I feel like I executed my entire younger personality and he really had it coming.
