Is it okay to not prioritize buying a house?

This is simply not true. No apartment dweller pays 10 grand when their AC goes out, or 7 grand because they want a straight patio. This is exactly what i was talking about, theres a home owner delusion where youre constantly spending money on your house but ignoring it and pretending it doesnt exist.

If you were realistic about the cost, added it up without fibbing, and compared it to a normal investment vehicle it would fail.

You people just wanna play house.

If im wrong go ahead and link me your spreadsheet of every itemized monthly expense you did for your home. Any other investment vehicle can do this, surely you can provide the most basic balancing sheet for this home you claim you made money on?
