What's your story of being falsely accused of something?

In 11th grade I was in a terrible relationship with a terrible girl. She would blatantly flirt with other guys and lie to me constantly. I voiced my concerns with her and let her know if she didnt stop I was going to break up with her. One day I decided I was going to play around and scare her so I approached her from behind, grabbed her back, and yelled. Well she decided this was as great a time as ever to break up with me first and make me look like the bad person. She told her mom (who worked at the school) that I punched her in her back hard as fuck. She faked it to the point where she went to the ER and told her she could have nerve damage. She almost got what she wanted because her parents called me and told me I couldn't date her anymore, but I played it smart. I lied told them I was just playing around but tripped, resulting in me hitting her harder than expected. They forgave me and said I could still date her, even though I fucking hated every single fiber of her being. It was either be know as the woman abuser or just deal with a relationship based on hatred. People already started to make abuse jokes even though I tried to explain myself, so I bit the bullet. Once I was in the clear with her parents and was still dating her, people forgot and moved on to the next thing, but I ended up being with her for 6 more months...
