so in general season 5 was where it started to get ridiculous.

but there were a lot of cringey moments with characters like joeffrey and ramsay from earlier seasons that just made me roll my eyes because they were clearly included just to make us dislike them more. that kind of stuff was a clue that the showrunners got a little too excited about the pulpier aspects of the show. season 5 was where that started being a lot more obvious.

but the straight up jump the shark, this is so ridiculous that i can no longer suspend disbelief, and everything from here on gets shittier moment was arya getting stabbed. after that, seasons 7 and 8 made total sense to me and i was honestly in no way surprised.
