When a racist neighbor challenge you and even gave away his address…

If you did something out of line, would you be more willing to reflect on yourself and change if you were approached by someone who is friendly and wanted to have a conversation and attempt to show you why your thoughts are incorrect or harmful? Or would you rather have 50 people crowd around you and throw random objects at you. The guys a class A asshole and racist, no doubt, but if the goal is to truly inspire change in the nation's then our actions should reflect that goal, even if it means showing someone as awful as this kindness and forgiveness. It was Ghandi that said the famous quote, "an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind." Hate will never be stopped by more hate, even if the more hate seems completely justified. Itll will most likely make the racists even more grounded in their horrible beliefs, which helps neither us nor them
