Where can I find a virtual personal assistant?

The most important thing with any VA/EA is to build trust and teach them how you like certain things done.

This is good advice and we have found that it's true with all help. You can hire anyone to clean your house but they'll do it their way unless you take the time to show them how it's done. They're not necessarily going to know how to polish 250 year old antique furniture or your silver. I made the mistake of hiring someone to cook and just assuming they'd be good out the gate. That might be true if you hire a highly skilled chef in your cuisine of choice, but since we're working our way up in price what I ended up with was someone who cooked but cooked with limited resources. They needed to be trained to cook with my resources. If you want a good assistant you need to train them. This is crystal clear at work but sometimes gets overlooked when hiring household help. This only gets more and more important if you outsource from a different country.
