Family wealth

Being told No. Working at 16- Present. Handy down car @ 16 that was 20 years old. New economy car @ 18 conditional that I would do school. My family let me fall hard, but not hard enough where my life would face serious altering consequences (jail, homeless, struggling to eat, addiction etc). They supported my educationally thru a superfunded 529 plan. It allowed me to explore multiple different career paths and do a lot of cool things. I’m looking @ law school now which I would have 0 debt from. Basically I am able to do anything I can ever dream of, but working is still required. I am not going to be given a multi million dollar house nor going to be given 100k cars. The expectations were set and were clear around the age of 18 and shortly after I understood things more clearly. It’s 8 figs in a GST along with other vehicles such as the 529, by the time I have kids and they are in elementary school, it will be 9 figures. My families wealth is not my legacy tho. I have still to build my own. Hoping to break into big law and open up my own firm. Depending on how everything works out, who knows maybe I don’t have to build my wealth up, but rather focus on politics and public policy even tho i think both sides are garbage.
