"Antivaxxers waiting for Novavax because its not available and then they'll be waiting for the next unavailable vaccine" is just a coping mechanism for the ignorant who have been duped by large marketing budgets and can't admit they were sold an inferior product, obviously they prevent hospitalisations and deaths but for how long?

If this is due to the shot only providing immunity to the S-protein (spike) then it would become quite clear when Novavax is widely used if the currently available injections are inferior because they only provide immunity to the S-protein, whereas Novavax will be providing immunity to the entire virus. That, coupled with tried-and-true vaccination technology, is a perfectly valid reason to wait for Novavax. There is no room for understanding in ignorance.
