WHO chief: The COVID pandemic is ‘most certainly not over’

whole family has worn well fitted high quality n95s since the first omicron wave, we just tested positive late last week. it served us well (through school and office environments) for the past few months but by no means a 100% guarantee for one way masking even with n95s. luckily we have been fortunate to have mildish symptoms (days 1-3 were the worst) even with us all having underlying health issues, couldn’t imagine how we would go if we’d been unlucky and had bad symptoms. however, not something i want to catch again so will be one way masking with n95s again after this, but it’s not 100% effective if you’re around many other people who aren’t masked.
