In which reddit defends an irresponsible, drug-addicted single mom

Everything I say is white noise until you see something to make fun of- and that's why you spend all day on the computer. Because you did that to people in real life, to make yourself feel better about being 'beta', and they said 'fuck you kid', so here you are, desperately clawing your way back up the ladder to a place where you respect yourself. Does this make you feel better? Do you feel like a big man now? If you died tomorrow and your life was based on the endless string of hate that is your reddit account, would you be proud of what you have accomplished? While you're doing nothing for people that are suffering but telling them what they can and cannot use as a drug to relieve their pain, we'll all be living our lives trying to work through our struggles that you think are unimportant because you don't care about them. You don't care about us because we don't look, act, and talk like you. But I bet if you found that you treated people with a little more respect, they might agree with you more. People try to talk to you like a normal person but you just don't communicate like a person with a healthy life and mind does. I only came out of lurking because of how upsetting some of these comments were, but I won't be using the account again.

One last time, take a look at what you're doing right now. There is a whole big world outside of the monitor you're staring at, the vein throbbing in your forehead, and the scowl on your face. For your own health, familiarize yourself with the rest of the world and some basic human emotions like empathy and compassion. Try to communicate as if you're moving towards something. Otherwise, you're just doing what...? Circlejerking. If it's any consolation, I completely acknowledge my involvement in perpetuating the circlejerking.
