Who was "that one substitute teacher" when you were in school?

We had this one woman in primary school. I assume our teacher was quite ill because we had this sub for a long time. She was older, grey frizzy hair and a somewhat stormy demeanour hidden underneath an old lady smile.

This short, plump woman that had strange ideas of what we should be learning. Curriculum be damned, she got us making pieces of a board game by hand. It was a bit surreal, from spinning tops to tokens, board squares to cards, everything to scale this game up to classroom size.

Among the surreal and great fun of basically being in a craft school each day there was an undertone of fear. It took once, just once of someone stepping out of line and the simmering chirp of the old lady turned to an extinction level volcanic event. She revealed to us that day, just how beetroot purple an angry bitch could be. Screaming is an understatement, she supernova'd on the poor bastard who was having too much fun.

The class was very uneasy, even the usual suspects feared the next seismic event. But they happened, every couple of days she went apocalyptic on someone until finally my turn had come.

Someone tossed an eraser across the class and it landed near me. She turned at just the wrong moment and saw it come to rest. "PICK THAT UP NOW" she obliterated my eardrums. I was in shock. Not wanting to be framed I stated "It's not mine" with fear on my face... Well hooooly shit, stars supernova with less energy than she expelled right then. I was the quietest kid in school, never did anything wrong and all the kids knew it, the guy who threw it even owned up right there and then. That was it though, she'd unleashed the crazy train and screamed that this game we were making was cancelled. "IN THE BIN! ALL OF IT". Disbelief. It all hot thrown out, no idea what game it was, will never know. My personal theory is that she realised it wasn't going to work and wanted a way out, glad a single white classroom eraser at my feet could give her that.
