Balsever the Denier.

I was running a less-than-serious evil campaign, where the PCs worked for what was essentially Mordor's CIA, as written by Terry Pratchett. Balsever the Denier was the four-foot tall frog demon that ran the Requisitions Department.

Balsever might have been short, fat, and supernaturally ugly, but his ego was the size of a balrog. A big balrog. Also, he referred to himself in the third person and spoke with a Comic Book Nerd lisp. ("Balsever the Denier is unimpressed with your insufficiently obsequious groveling!") He routinely gave cursed magical items to the party when they requested upgrades.

For whatever reason, the PCs loved him. They even collected pieces of dead monsters so that they could build him a flesh golem/hellhound/puppy thing.
