The thing is, at least in Keanu's case, he has a whole group of people who have financial interest in making sure he is ok. If you are poor, and single (and his age) it is a lot easier to get lost in the shuffle. Same thing with most other really well off people his age. So many others livelihoods depend on them, from maids to financial advisers, a lot of people have extra interest in them doing well and will raise alarm bells that will rapidly get pushed up the chain if things seem amiss. It isn't perfect, as all that can definitely be seen as added pressure... but it is the difference between being ignored and having at least someone (or many someones) checking in on you.
