It doesn’t matter how you pee.

People, including people that have replied to you, really don't understand the splash damage component. Wiping off the visible stuff on the rim is nice, but that's the tip of the iceberg. Any time you're peeing from a standing height into a standard toilet, you're splashing everything within about 2 feet with tiny droplets. Not enough to see and think "Oh I need to wipe that off" but enough that, over time, it's going to eat the paint off the wall or ruin the woodwork.

And you can frequently see this damage in public restrooms where the panel next to the toilet will have the paint all fucked up and it's kinda rusting through. That's from tiny, pretty much invisible pee droplets splashing on it time and again.

Sitting to pee is objectively cleaner by a much wider margin than people think. And unless you're wiping down every single thing within ~2 feet of the toilet every single time you pee standing up, you're not "cleaning up the splash damage".
