wholesome rule

I know this has been said a million times, but seeing a professional can seriously work wonders. I’ve been in the same position; I struggled with bulimia in high school and became a truant. I smoked weed and lied in bed because I was too depressed to do anything else. Nobody in my life understood why I was so depressed and the people I cared about most dismissed me for it.

I only got better when I started going to group therapy twice a week and experienced firsthand that there are others going through the same thing. Your school should have resources available. Talk to a counselor when you can and ask them to point you in the right direction. Take baby steps. Go for a walk by yourself, eat something green, try to distract yourself from addictive tendencies, etc. I have faith in you and wish you the best
