Who's the nicest person you've encountered through life and why?

This is late so it'll probably get buried, but I used to work at an amusement park, and it was one of the guests. I worked in the games section of the park, where one of the games was a basketball 3-point shot challenge. I worked at that game most days because one of the jobs was collecting the basketballs as guests played the game and putting them back on the racks, which didn't require me having to be responsible for making correct change. It was a timed game that was VERY popular and almost always had a line. There was a guest who must have lived close to the park, because he and his two young sons came in almost every single day. They had free admission passes, so they'd come ride rollercoasters as they passed through every day. The dad would stop by and pay to play the basketball game a few times every visit since his pass also got him some free bonus games there. He was pretty good at it, since he played almost every day. As a result, he'd almost always win a few prizes, ranging from small stuffed animals to NBA basketballs. Here's the kicker, though: he'd always take these prizes and have his sons help him find kids at the park who hadn't won any prizes that day and give them away for free. This guy was genuinely the nicest guy I've ever met. Not only was he teaching his kids a really great lesson about sharing with others rather than just hoarding tons of prizes for themselves, but he also made a real effort to talk to all the games employees since he was around so often. During my last shift before I had to go back to school, he even wished me luck, shook my hand and thanked me profusely for being helpful while I was working there. This guy was such a cool person in a sea of terrible, irritable park guests. I guess these actions that might seem small looking back were more impactful because a lot of the other people I interacted with there were awful. I wish I could thank him for being such a selfless and nice guy.
