Feminism is by no means an excuse to say shitty things about men

Of course I agree with this, I know there are the light hearted jokes and just flat out being a jerk.

I only say reverse sexism isn't real because the difference between the weight of misogynistic jokes about women (that have been reinforced for a long time) and "misandrist" jokes (which have come relatively recently bc women are less "held back" for lack of a better phrase) are so different and it's hard to ignore.

That doesn't mean you can insult men, but is it the same as sexism to women? I personally wouldn't say so.
