Wife of nearly 10 years found out she is pregnant

I came here to say this too. I was always pro-choice but "oh I couldn't abort mine and my partners" and then birth control failed as well. I immediately did know I wanted an abortion. because we were also at the time extremely low income as well as having almost identical mental health issues, and that I knew he had no interest in kids, It was easy for me to bring up with him right away. We didn't really consider keeping it an option. So, two things I want to say to OP, sorry for taking over your comment.. her telling you with an ornament like that kind of seems like she wants it, however, she may just feel like she can't suggest abortion, or wouldn't want to do that to you, or whatever the reasons isn't talking about it. It doesn't hurt to at least bring up the topic directly with her. Maybe, "of course I support becoming parents, but I want to make sure you don't feel like I'm forcing your choice, have you thought about abortion?" Then you know her feelings at least.

There has been no real affect of the abortion on my depression or his. He didn't really seem to be phased, we didn't want to be parents. I had some hormone crashing right after but that's expected.
