I’m notngoing to say all or even most are like this. Not trying to paint broad strokes. But I know I see it in my own extended family. Cousins all living with each other in various houses. They bounce from job to job, always struggle with bills, and yet always have really nice clothes (like Gucci purses, not just decent, high quality clothes which I think everyone should have), a different car every couple years, etc. one of them has spent at $4,000 on the last 3 christmases. The first two were for a 6 month old, then 1 yr old. This year for a 5 month old & 2 yr old. 4 Grand, straight to the credit card. And they would have had just as much fun with the boxes.
