Wisconsin high school student on leading walkout: 'leadership from adults wasn't getting us anywhere'

I agree with a lot of what you said. I can understand the argument that reproduction should be a privilege and not a right, but thats not a problem we have (in the west and developed nations). Its developing nations that are going nuts reproductive wise. Africa being the biggest problem of them all. But I dont think the west has the stomach for attempting to control births through things like eugenics or some of non voluntary means. Perhaps voluntary contraceptives etc can help but thats a very long game to play and if things arent blown out of proportion, we dont really have the time for that.

Im personally ok with a slower growing economy and less money in my pocket if it means when i go outside i breath air and not diesel, BUT, there needs to be a real tangible benefit for that hardship. Im not willing to have a slower growing economy and less money in my pocket for nothing. Like I said, Paris deal was just self harm, nothing would have became better, it would have just been worse quality of life and eventually the same result.

I firmly believe technology will save our asses and that its gonna be some cooky ~on the spectrum~ crypto billionaire who does it by attempting to win a dick measuring contest with some other cooky billionaire. im only half joking tbh
