As a woman with tattoos I'm definitely not bothered by people who don't like them. Honestly. And don't assume it's all about trends, women have been getting tattoos for a long time. Personally I waited until I was 30 to take the plunge. If you personally find them ugly on girls, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I sort of understand what you mean in that they look a little masculine (maybe because we're so used to seeing them on men before they become fashionable for everyone?) and I get the "trashy" thing too - most trashy as fuck people have really horrible, badly drawn tattoos. But that doesn't mean that everyone with a tattoo is trashy. ;)
