Take Joining documents as guide

1. Offer Letter
2. Salary Slips
3. Bank statements showing the salary deposits
4. Reliving letter
5. Experience certificate

When joining new company, you have to produce these documents for next company.

Not having offer letter, means 1. Salary amount has not been decided 2. Salary breakup has not been decided. 3. Designation is not decided. 4. Leaves and various other benefits have not been decided. 5. Notice period is not decided.

• When I say not decided, verbal confirmation is not the same as written confirmation on company letter head.

Inisst on required documents, there is no shame in asking for required documents. On the contrary, if they are avoiding, that is strong reason to suspect if they are genuine.

Mebbe they are genuine and require some time to get their house in order, the real test will be payslip. If payslip is not authentic, then better to get it clarified from them.
