AITA for doing this to my replacement

Just my opinion, life is unpredictable, your frustration is valid! But you are from Gen-Z and I'm not gonna rant about millennials or boomers but you are on the same road just because of salary.

Your point if 100% valid, but this toxicity can return you back in the form of karma. You worked your ass off, you have suffered and I can totally relate it because I didn't got job off-campus and on-campus I never asked them for help. Why? Every single person had some pride, ego and I was ready to take train to heaven or hell but was told I'm faking my medical problems.

Did I ever looked back for what they said, they behaved? I didn't blame anyone, just working my ass off same as yours. Move on, you are not an asshole, you just got frustrated.

Remember one thing, I've to yet to start my professional life but I keep hearing people at chai ki tapri in my area about how people in India tech/IT lack empathy, don't be that person for who people say that this guy lacks empathy.

Also, think from the other persons perspective! Many people here have suffered ragging, some are and someone had just moved on and started professional journey... So keep empathy!

End Of Satsang. This city and suburbs I reside in has taught me this Satsang, Empathy and life skills :)
