World population living in extreme poverty, 1820-2015

Denial of the science, belief in a discredited theory, group think, seeking out a vanishingly small minority of "experts" (sometimes not even talking in their own are of expertise) as some kind of real rebuttal. Yeah you are definitely a science denier. How does it feel?

I'm a denial of bourgeois economics, which hasn't anything to do with science.

You mean like the guy who was speaking outside of his area of expertise you keep trying to bring up, the guy who also has an apparent chip on his shoulder when it comes to western civilization and capitalism? That guy? Lets beleive that guy, who made factual errors in the article, over the expert economists at the world bank shall we (But only when they give the market credit for reducing poverty)

He wasn't speaking outside his expertise. You didn't even read the article very carefully, I think that was obvious. You immediately dismissed it as it destroyed your view of your capitalist-worship. I don't think you have anything outside a rudimentary knowledge of what capitalism even is. You're in the majority unfortunately.

Oh really? Thats great I didn't know he was an economist. Oh wait he was a physicist. Again Another logical fallacy, and appeal to inappropriate authority.

Jesus christ, you'd take some average economist opinion over Einstein if it fit with your world view. Economists aren't the arbiters of the right and wrong, they have their own set of biases. Not all economists support capitalism either, but you don't see those economists often because thy're marginalized to shit and can't find work usually. So basically all you see today are capitalist lapdog bourgeoisie economists who keep telling you capitalism is great.
